Stichting Dierenbescherming Curaçao operates an animal shelter, provides external services (an animal ambulance, investigation of complaints regarding cruelty and neglect, stray animal catching) and organizes educational projects to raise public awareness of the importance of responsible pet ownership and nature preservation.

Sprite and Dr. Pepper
Sprite and Dr. Pepper were found in the bushes and brought to the shelter. They are growing into nice and playful pups now. Unfortunately Sprite is deaf and has bad eyesight, probably for the rest of his life. It would be wonderful if they could stay together and we hope to find an owner where they can continue their puppy games and where they will be happy for the rest of their life.
