During the summer vacation the shelter receives many visits from groups that organize ‘After school activities’ with the aim of keeping children busy in an informative and educational way. The Society encourages these activities and welcomes all organisers who decide to visit the shelter with their students. The visit to the shelter is combined with a visit to the veterinarian clinic that is situated next-door and both visits give the children a lot of information on responsible pet ownership. The pictures give an idea of the activities.
